It was with great delight that I photographed potter Renae Bell of Yellow Door Studio last summer. Renae makes the most beautiful stoneware ceramics, each hand thrown, dried and glazed by Renae from dinner ware, to vases and earrings to mention a few. In addition to her product lines and bespoke orders, Renae also offers apprenticeships to share her love of ceramics. So, whether you are after beautiful ceramics or you are an aspiring potter, Renae is your lady. I highly recommend you take a moment to find out more of what she has on offer here on Made in Midlothian.
I absolutely loved working with Renae. We had such a fun personal branding session together full of laughter, and clay!
A huge thanks to Yellow Door Studio for a fun-filled photo-session last summer.
Many people ask me if a personal branding session is quite formal and I can assure you it is not. Yes, careful planning is involved to ensure your session is perfectly tailored to you and your work. But the session itself is very informal and relaxed and I promise even the most camera shy enjoy their moment in front of the camera.
